Selling my 1996 5-Speed Cosmos Black BMW M3, luxury edition (wood trim). The BMW has 123,000 miles and runs great. I just had over $5,000 worth of work done to it (brakes, belts, hoses, allignment, maintenance tune up, etc) I have the paperwork. The car comes with:
-6CD Hardon Kardon sound system
-On-Board Computer
-white euro front lights
-Power EVERYTHING
-Sun roof
-Cruise control
-CD/Cassete
-plenty of seating for 5 people (even with the coupe the leg room is great)
-Conforti Air intake
-drilled rotor brake system with red calipers, they stop on a dime
-front lip spoiler
-spare tire with M3 rim and jack with complete BMW tool kit mounted to inside of trunk
-large trunk (bigger than what is expected from a sports car)
-new windshield wipers
I have had this great car for over 7 years, I cannot overstate how well I have kept this car up and how reliable and a joy it has been. It has never left me standed or given me problems. The M3 really has been unbelievable. It hurts me to sell it, but I am about to start a family and need something more practical.
The car has a lot of power, for those that know what BMW's "M" can do, you know what I'm talking about. It is the best handling car I have ever driven, in 1996 Motor Trend said it was hands down the best handling sports car in the world, beating out the likes of Ferrari, Chevy Corvette, Dodge Viper, Maserati, etc. The only thing the BMW needs is the fog light reattached (I have it) a bucket hit the fog light and loosened it and I am yet to reattach it. Also it has a small crack running up the windshield (big suprise here in AZ).
The car does not leak anything or burn oil. It is not a daily driver, I usually just drive it on the weekends. I have always changed the oil and filters with Mobil 1 every 3-4K miles and it idles great. If you are interested please contact me, but only serious buyers and nobody looking for a joy ride.
